ANSI A10.46 Standard – Hearing Loss Prevention for Construction & Demolition Workers

Since the announcement was released about the approval of the Standard there have been many comments and questions. The standard is currently being prepared for printing and should be available soon. There has also been an announcement released addressing an upcoming ASSE audio call about the standard on May 2, 2007. However, ASSE continues to get requests for information about the standard itself. The Laborers' Health and Safety Fund of North America recently released an article about the standard titled: "ANSI Quietly Setting the Standard". The article was in their online "LifeLines" publication, which is distributed to over 3,000 people. The Laborer's Fund has graciously given ASSE permission to post a link to the article on the A10.46 website.
